The Queens Tournament is an individual scratch tournament, offered each spring, open only to Michigan USBC WBA certified members with a 170 average or higher for 21 games or more within the past 3 years in a Michigan State USBC certified league or a current average of 170 or higher for 21 games or more as of February 1 of the current season.

NOVELLA DANIELS
This is Novella's 2nd Queen's Title, her first being in 1999. This year, the final four bowlers (Sara Teuber - Swartz Creek, Kathleen Bishop - Westland, Sarah Pettenger - Kentwood and Novella Daniels - Detroit) competed in the final Eliminator round. The first round saw Sara Teuber eliminated with a 221 game to the next lowest 225. The second round, Kathleen Bishop was eliminated with a 192 game to a 213. And in the final match play round, Novella defeated Sarah Pettenger with a 269 to 207.
